Nice to meet you.

A beautiful setting, a warm welcome, and different styles of worship are just the wrapping for the real blessings at Divine Savior! The real blessings are the gifts of God—forgiveness of sins, hope, new life in Christ—which He gives us through His Word and Sacraments. We’d love for you to receive these gifts along with us. Join us Thursdays at 7 pm or Sundays at 8 am, 9:30 am or 11 am. (From Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, our Sunday schedule is 9 am and 11 am.)

What We Believe

Divine Savior Lutheran Church stands within the broad stream of classical Christianity. As Lutherans, we hold the ancient creeds of the church dear, and we count ourselves as the first evangelicals, which means that we focus on the good news of Jesus Christ, our crucified and risen Savior.

New Here?

We have four services each weekend. Thursdays at 7 pm and Sundays at 8 am and 9:30 am are traditional services with hymns and following a liturgy (a set order of worship). We call our 11 am service on Sundays our Brew Service. It is a café-style service: seating around tables, coffee and doughnuts, an informal approach and contemporary music. From Memorial Day until Labor Day, we combine our two Sunday traditional services and have one traditional service at 9 am. (Our Thursday and Brew services remain the same year-round.)

We’re more concerned that you join us than we are concerned about what you wear! Guests will find a wide range of attire at Divine Savior. Some worshipers dress casually: jeans and shorts are a common sight. Some of our folks dress more formally, and you might see men in dress shirts or sports coat and women in skirts. If you’re nervous about what to wear, business casual is always a safe choice.
Our traditional services meet in our worship center on the north end of the building. Our main entrance (and the one that is handicapped accessible) is on the east side of the building under the large carport. The easiest way to get here is to turn east on Monroe Ave. and then turn left into our parking lot. We also have access right off of Highway K. Turn into the parking lot, follow the drive around, and you can enter either through the north doors or come around ot the main carport. Once you are here, we strive to have someone at the door to meet you. Feel free to ask them any questions you might have. Our Brew Service meets in our fellowship hall on the south end of the building. There’s a sign marking the entrance by the set of doors on the east side.

Our traditional services follow a set order of worship, usually from our hymnal. Our Brew Service is pretty informal. Both worship spaces have projectors, and we display the words of the service and songs to make it easy to follow along.

Absolutely! We love to have children in our services. At many of our services, our pastor has a message, especially for young children. We have busy bags and children’s bulletins for them, too. If it’s necessary, we have a nursery (unstaffed) through the double doors just to the south of the worship space.

Looking for Church Family

Divine Savior Lutheran Church exists to raise followers of Jesus who are gathered around Word and Sacrament,
growing in relationship to the Triune God and to each other, and engaged in mission and service.
