New Here?

Guests are always welcome at Divine Savior, and we hope that hearing God’s Word with us will be a blessing to you.

When are services?
Divine Savior conducts four services each weekend:
Thursday at 7 p.m.
Sunday at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m. and the 11 a.m. service is a cafe-style contemporary service held in the fellowship hall.

What about attire?
Guests will find a wide range of attire at Divine Savior. Some worshipers dress more formally–ties and sport coats for the men, skirts or dresses for the women. Some of our worshipers dress more casually. Business casual is a safe choice at every service. We’re more concerned that you join us than we are concerned about what you wear!

Where do I go?
Our main entrance (and the one that is handicapped accessible) is on the east side of the building under the large carport. The easiest way to get here is to turn east on Monroe Ave. and then turn left into our parking lot. We also have access right off of Highway K. Turn into the parking lot, follow the drive around the north side of the building, and there is also an entrance on the north side of the building. That entrance leads you up a few stairs into our main gathering area. Once you are here, we strive to have someone at the door to meet you. Feel free to ask them any questions you might have.

What should I expect?
Divine Savior usually worships within the liturgical tradition of the Church. We typically follow a service from our hymnal, although occasionally the whole service is printed in a worship folder. The worship folder always includes page numbers to aid you in your worship, and our pastor announces where we are, especially if we switch between the service folder and the hymnal.

Are children welcome?
Absolutely! We love to have children in our services. At about half of our services, our pastor has a message especially for young children. We have busy bags and children’s bulletins for them, too. If it’s necessary, we have a nursery (unstaffed) through the double doors just to the south of the worship space.
